Publishing Options

Editing Option 1
Editing Option 1 is a complete review of your manuscript, which includes both content and line edits. We help reorganize content so the story flows smoothly. We correct errors in grammar, punctuation, capitalization, formatting and spacing. We will look for plot holes and inconsistencies in characterization. We also ensure consistency of language (i.e. American English versus British English), layout, and font. We look for junk words, overused words, incorrect words, homophone mishaps, unclear sentences, impossible sentences, word echoes, anything and everything we can think of.

The price for Editing Option 1 is $0.0145 per word.

Editing Option 2
Editing Option 2 includes everything in Editing Option 1 plus an additional read-through of the manuscript once revisions are complete.

The price for Editing Option 2 is $0.02 per word.

Editing Option 3

Editing Option 3 includes everything in Editing Option 2 plus an additional read-through, which will be completed by a different editor to ensure maximum thoroughness. It’s exactly what you’d get from a traditional publisher. We will re-re-recheck the manuscript and correct anything that might have been overlooked during the first two edits. We want to ensure you are putting out the best quality story possible. This means we check grammar, punctuation, spelling, consistency and word usage.

The price for Editing Option 3 is $0.024 per word.

Cover Art
Yes, despite the old saying, we do judge a book by its cover, so you have to ask yourself. Do you want a stunning book cover or do you want one that looks like you made it yourself? Yeah, I’d want a professional one too. Looking at the story as well as a detailed cover art request summary, Jay will design a cover for your book. A lot of details go into this work, not merely slapping some text on a stock image. She puts her heart and soul into her work. Don’t take our word for it—her portfolio speaks for itself!

Formatting
We will format your manuscript to eBook standards and present you with a file ready for upload to Smashwords, Amazon Kindle Direct, All Romance eBooks, and others.

The price for formatting a standard fiction eBooks is between $10-$50, depending on the word count of the manuscript. Click here for a detailed breakdown. Note: This service is provided free of charge with Editing Option 3.
